Dahi ke Sholey - Dahi and Sholey???!!!

Sholay - What an iconic movie! When I heard Dahi Ke Sholey in Delhi, I was intrigued. People who had eaten it would swear by it as being the best thing in INA market - some fanatics actually giving it ratings above Dilli Haat...!

Well, so hubby and I decided to pay a visit.

Location - This cute little place is opposite Dilli Haat in the INA Market and serves rolls of bread stuffed with a curd mixture. The mixture is spicy, and has curd, capsicum, and the usual garam masala. The rolls themselves are uniquely shaped, with a twist at the end, which adds to the beauty...!

Needless to say, the Dahi ke Sholey were amazing. Paired with green chutney, the humble bread rolls were on a different level altogether.

INA market has some other attractions. There is a very good shop selling momos and chinese cuisine - the momos are large and one of the best ever tasted in Delhi.

Right at the entrance to the Delhi Metro station, (from the INA Market side) is the city's best revelation. A vendor sells the coldest and sweetest Rabri...! The rabri is fresh, granular, and is garnished with dry fruits! The vendor keeps a small weighing machine and weighs every cup before serving. What a delight!
