A recipe so easy that the laziest species in the Animal Kingdom—'The Human Male' can cook it as well😆 Let's see how to make this simple Marati breakfast.
Ingredients:
Thick poha - 2 cups
Onion - 1 finely chopped
Green chilli - 2
Ginger - 1 inch
Peanuts - 2 tbsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as required
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Method:
Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds & curry leaves. When they splutter, add peanuts and roast until they turn golden brown.
Add ginger and green chilli, saute for few seconds; then add chopped onion.
Saute until onion becomes transparent. Add turmeric powder, required salt.
In the mean time, dip 2 cups of poha in a bowl of water. Let it rest for 30 seconds to one minute and not more than that. Drain all the water and add poha to the kadai.
Mix gently; check for salt. Add lemon juice and mix.
After one minute, remove from flame. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot!

Note:
- You can add potato pieces to this poha to make it 'Aloo poha'.
- You can also garnish with shredded coconut at the end.
